What Is Rasamani?

What is Rasamani? : All metals are naturally in solid form except Mercury. Although it comes under the classification of a metal, Mercury is in semi-liquid form. Our ancient saints who are called Siddhas, found the greatness of Mercury and its special effects, when it is solidified. It is called then as Mercury Gem or Rasamani after its solidification, which is done by an ingenious and secret process, as formulated by ancient Sidhas. By using herbal essences and by other special means, Mercury is made solid in the shape of a gem and a hole is pierced in the middle to enable it to be worn in the body. Before knowing the efficacy and power ofRasamani by wearing it, let us get enlightened about Mercury's quality, nature, how it gets created and what saints have to say specially about this great Metal.

The Nature of Mercury : Both heat and cold is in equal proportions in Mercury. When it is laid with hot objects it becomes hot and if it is with cold objects it becomes cold. As such it suits any body, whereas other metals don't have this unique quality.
